inches of snow. thank goodness that is not us. the morning, happy halloween. i'm mindy basara. >> mother nature played a trick on us. it has been 10 years since we have seen snow in october. we're not expecting any snow today. there are some areas of fog, 36 degrees. the fog should dissipate throughout the day. 55 this afternoon. milder weather will be expected midweek. that is the latest on the weather. >> good morning. we're starting off with a couple of problems. this is providence road. the right lane is closed with an accident. over towards 95, you may find some delays. newbury street at smith avenue, some fire activity. closures in effect. for the south on the eastern shore in chester, we have some downed wires along maryland 18 at u.s. 50. everything else is pretty much up to speed. southbound 95 through howard county, problem free. this is traffic and will check some cameras. this is dogwood road and so for up to speed. no problems on this portion of the beltway. we're checking on this accident taking up the right lane. no sign of delays. that could change as volume picks up. tha

up there. kim dacey joins us live with more. >> police say the victim is 23- year-old emily hauze who is originally from pennsylvania. they could not confirm whether she was living there. police were called sunday morning after somebody found the body at the bottom of the trash chutes. the second time in just over a year. another body was found in august of last year. kevin brown says at this point there is no indication of foul play appeared in a letter sent to residents explained that police were investigating an isolated incident. the trash chutes is only about 18 inches wide and an age floor of the building. >> the trash chutes are not that big. i don't see how a person could get in there in the first place. two times the same thing, it is unnerving. >> emily hauze is a recent graduate of loyola university. autopsy results are expected sometime today. kim dacey, wbal-tv 11 news. >> a former pastor will spend life in prison for organizing the death of a blind man in baltimore. he pleaded guilty to orchestrating the 2009 murder in which wallace was picked up from his group home and

on september 30 at his montgomery home. jennifer franciotti joins us with the latest. >> good morning. william's mother, jane was found dead on wednesday in their germantown home, but william was missing and so was his step father. an amber alert was issued. police found the car and arrested curtis lopez the boy's step father and charged hip with first-degree murder. they hoped the find william safe with lopez, however, he was last seen september 30. they found his mother murdered this week. >> every time she would go somewhere, he would be there. >> william is a sixth grader and it's unclear whether his school followed policy after he failed to show up after four consecutive days. anyone with information is asked to call the police. >> thank you. an inmate escapes from police custody and this morning he is still at large. this man, 21-year-old jermaine stroud took off after being transported when he was arrested for armed robbery, if you know his whereabouts, you're asked to call 911. >> well, dozens of alleged gang members are behind bars, the 35 people indicted include men and win. the sout
